'The Whole Class Loves the Course'

Anna Wyszynska teaches English to seven and eight-year-old children at the Szkola Podstawowa im. Lotnikow Amerykanskich in Warsaw, Poland. The children started learning English in September 2000, and have four English lessons per week.

These pictures show how motivated the children are by working with Join In, and how lively and enjoyable the classes are.

Anna Wysznska finds the course book varied, motivating for the learners, and very teacher friendly.

'All learners become involved and, to my surprise, the boys love acting, miming and singing as much as the girls. They put all their energy into presenting everything they have learned.

The teacher often takes the role of the learner, and the children take this very seriously, giving their teacher instructions and asking her questions.

All students try to speak English during the lesson, so completing the tasks is never a problem. Their favourite activities are 'Mime the action story' tasks with Toby.
