Cambridge Handbooks for Language Teachers
The Internet and the
Language Classroom
A Practical Guide for Teachers
Gavin Dudeney
This book introduces teachers to the Internet in three parts.
The first part of the book discusses different facets of the Internet (software,
modes of communication, finding and classifying resources).
The second part provides a range of practical activities grouped by theme and
level. These activities take the teacher from the most basic introductory procedures
through a range of Internet-based tasks and materials of different levels of difficulty.
The final part of the book looks at how to create simple and extended Web projects,
and offers guidelines on how to set up and run global projects such as e-mail
and cultural exchanges.
