Integrate Pronunciation
Objective: To provide further practice for a Pronunciation exercise by linking it to other activities
Steps:
- After teaching a Pronunciation exercise, refer your students to either the Conversation or the Grammar Focus exercise (depending on which contains more examples).
- Ask your students to look for examples of where the new pronunciation point should be used. Then practice the dialog or sentences while paying particular attention to the new pronunciation point.
Example: The following example is for New Interchange 1, Unit 14: "The Biggest and the Best!" The Grammar Focus exercise appears on p. 87 of the Student's Book, and the Pronunciation exercise appears on p. 88 of the Student's Book.
