This activity is designed to be taught with Exercise 4, "Listening: Asking favors." Time: About 10 minutes. This activity practices describing personality traits. Ask students to write a few sentences describing some personality traits of three classmates. (Note: Students should try to be imaginative, but should avoid embarrassing one another.) Tell students to use adjectives from Units 1–4. Students compare their descriptions in pairs. Then elicit students' descriptions around class. Back to Top
