Jack C. Richards is an internationally
recognized authority on methodology, teacher development, and
materials design, and has taught in universities and teacher
education centers in New Zealand, the United States, Indonesia,
Hong Kong, and Singapore. He has written many acclaimed classroom
texts, among those the worlds most successful English
course, New Interchange, and teacher resource books,
including Approaches and Methods in Language Teaching, Reflective
Teaching in Second Language Classrooms, and Beyond Training. |

Samuela Eckstut-Didier is an author, educator,
and teacher-trainer. She has written numerous textbooks for
learners of English as a second or foreign language. She spent
ten years in Europe where, in addition to having a Fulbright
grant to train teachers in Italy, she taught in both Greece
and England. She is currently a Senior Lecturer at the Center
for English Language and Orientation Program (CELOP) at Boston
