Cambridge English for Schools is a communicative, task-based English
course, designed especially for young students.
The
course features:
- content and concepts which reflect students' own lives, interests
and studies
- an approach which is effective with mixed-ability classes
- a clearly structured, active approach to grammar
- regular revision and evaluation
- integrated project work, including the Parcel of English scheme
- learner choice, decision-making and autonomy.
Cambridge English for Schools consists of four levels, plus a Starter
level for learners with no previous knowledge of English.
The course provides around 80 to 100 hours of class work for each level
depending on the various options used. The Starter level provides around
40 to 60 hours of classwork. The course has a flexible design, enabling
it to be made either shorter or longer.
The cassettes which accompany the course are available in two recordings
- British or American voices.
